MDCAT Guidance

You might have heard the saying that the MDCAT is 50% practice and 50% preparation. However, this doesn’t mean you should split your 10 hours equally. Preparation generally requires more time compared to practice. Here’s a suggested breakdown:

Repeaters should study for at least 10 hours daily, but there are specific conditions to consider. Studying straight for 10 hours without proper planning and time management will likely be a waste of time and may not yield the desired results. To avoid this and maximize your output for the MDCAT exams, you need to divide your study time effectively. Here’s how to do it:

- 5 hours should be dedicated to preparation.

- 3 hours should be allocated to practice, which includes solving FLP (Full-Length Practice) tests or chapter-wise tests.

- 2 hours should be spent revisiting. Revisiting involves analyzing why you got certain MCQs wrong after attempting a test. You should review the relevant topics from your textbook until you understand the mistakes and the correct concepts.

Let’s understand the importance of revisiting with a brief story: There was a boy who was friends with a lion. One day, the boy, in anger, spoke harshly to the lion. The lion, feeling hurt, asked the boy to strike him with an axe, and he did. The wound healed over time, leaving no scar. Years later, when the boy returned and apologized, the lion told him that while the wound had healed, the harsh words had left a lasting impact. This story emphasizes that revisiting helps reinforce concepts you might have missed or misunderstood. It ensures that you don’t forget critical information and helps you improve your understanding for future tests. By following this structured approach, you can make the most of your study time and significantly enhance your chances of success in the MDCAT exams.

Hall Of Motivation:

Agar MDCAT crack karna hai to raat ko jag kar padhna padega (din ko bhi). Main ne aaj sari raat padhna tha lekin neend kyun aa jaati hai? Aaj jo bhi ho jaye, main ne sona nahi hai warna mere number nahi aayenge. Aap bhi aisa hi sochte hain na...

MDCAT aspirants! Never give up hope for what you truly want. Allah is Great. He is the Master of All Miracles. If you think something is impossible, I'm telling you, only Allah can make it possible. If there's anything I've learnt, it's to never give up. Never stop trying. Never stop believing. Because when you're talking to Allah, when you're letting your heart out to Allah, good things happen. Miracles happen. The impossible will be possible and no one can stand in your way, when Allah got you. Trust Allah

Baithay baithay bhi kabhi koi manzil par pahuncha hai bhala? Tum haath par haath rakhay baithay rahoge... Chaloge nahi... Kuch seekhoge nahi... To manzil par kaise pahunchoge?

Aap jo hain us par fakhr karein aur har haal mein Allah ka shukar ada karein. Shukr karne walon ko woh behtareen se nawazta hai.

A student who hasn't cracked MDCAT is unhappy because another student has cracked. The on-merit student is unhappy because he/she is not placed in a core medical college. Student placed in a core medical college is unhappy because his colleague has more merit than him/her.

The person having the highest merit in the college is unhappy because he/ she has no time at all to enjoy his life with friends and family to maintain his/her position. This is what happens when you get trapped in the infinite rat race. You are never happy. And you will never appreciate or be grateful for the life you have. Come out of the Rat Race.

Hum sab thode ajeeb hote hain, naturally. Life bhi to itni ajeeb hai. Kisi ke paas kuch hai, kisi ke paas kuch nahi. Is "kuch" ke na hone ko hum darkness maan lete hain. Dear MDCAT aspirants, hum yeh bhool jaate hain ke sitaray bhi to andheray mein chamakte hain. To phir aap ke saath jo ho, aap is se kyun darein??? Isliye is ajeeb zindagi mein haarta woh nahi jo gir jaata hai, haarta woh hai jo gir ke uth nahi pata.

In these days, your concept should be "no pain no gain." Yeh ek ghalat concept hai ke dimaag thak jaata hai. Kabhi bhi thakta nahi hai. Kyunki use and disuse ko agar dekha jaye to jitna zyada istemal karoge, utna hi zyada efficient hota jaye ga. Agar koi thaka hua feel karta hai aur woh usi kaam ko us waqt chhod deta hai to dobara usi kaam ko karne mein wahan tak pohnchne mein usko kaafi time lag jaata hai. Aur agar woh thaka hua bhi usko karta rahe to woh mazeed efficient hota jata hai. Parhai ke dauran breaks zaroor lein, par yeh nahi ke har aadhe ghante baad, balki minimum saade teen se chaar ghante baad.
