Doctors' words
Dr. Muhammad Hassaan Qadir, King Edward Medical University
Do it or don’t do it, you will regret both. It is better to cry in MBBS rather than crying for MBBS

Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Gill, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur
Just do prayers and a little bit hard work. Only you can get admission if your parents are praying for you.
Dr. Muhammad Shaheer, Sahiwal Medical College
If you wanna crack mdcat with flying colours stay persistent and grind at your studies.
Dr. Mehboob Bahadar, Nishtar Medical University, Multan
Slective study with smart work is important in MDCAT, not whole study, and raata is invalid.
Dr. Saad Irshad Soomro, Sheikh Zayed Medical College, Rahim Yar Khan

Dr. Ahmad Uzair Baqi, King Edward Medical University, Lahore
This world is temporary. Permanent success is of Akhirah. I’ve seen people working for Akhirah and becoming successful in dunya. But I’ve seen people toiling for dunya as losers in both domains
Dr. Maira Riaz, King Edward Medical University, Lahore
I think the greatest factor that led me here was consistency and LOTS OF DUA AND TAHAJJUD,
I literally cried whole nights and in academy while making Dua and I was very much regular in tahajjud
First of all, if u talk about studies, as a szabmu student, you need to focus on your federal textbooks especially chemistry and biology, no need to read physics,
Make shortlistings ( if someone has not made yet, you may study my shortlisting notes)
Finally whatever mistakes you made in mcqs during practice, channelize them and mark those mistakes so that they never repeat
Finally after doing all your 100 percent, always remember Allah swt, make lots of us, cry and pray tahajjud
inshaAllah you will be there where ever you want very soon inshallah
Dr. Mahak Isha, King Edward Medical University, Lahore
Just keep in mind that if you have it as an option like if I make it to mbbs then its best and if not I will choose an other profession. Don’t use this approach. In this way we are unable to give our maximum effort as we have other ways to go.
If you are doing it then make it clear in your mind that I have to do it no matter what there is no other way around it
Then you give your maximum output and leave the rest to Allah. He will make the way for you.
In MDCAT preparation you have to make a schedule and strictly follow it and do all the things you have decided to complete.
Dr. Mukarram Ijaz, King Edward Medical University, Lahore
Mdcat is a game of stress and time management.
Must solve atleast 4-5 flps before mdcat to stimulate exam conditions. By attempting flps, you can identify ur strengths and weaknesses, improve time allocation for each section, and build confidence. Mindfulness techniques are helpful in scoring maximum. Also use common sense in attempting mcqs because some mcqs don’t have definite concept behind them but can be solved with common sense (and most students do them wrong)
Try to calm ur mind as much as u can.
Remember, preparation and calm mindset arevthe key to excel in mdcat.
Dr. Asad Ali, Gujranwala Medical College
I had always dreamt of becoming a doctor. As my parents are doctors too, it also inspired me a lot to become a doctor I scored 452/505 in first year. When the result was announced, I was very disappointed because the marks were low compared to my expectations. It was a huge setback for me in my dream of securing admission in a government medical college. But, I didn’t lose hope. I knew I could make up for the first year if I performed well in the second year and MDCAT. I joined STEP for the preparation of MDCAT. My journey of preparation for MDCAT wasn’t an easy one! At the start, I was struggling. But in the last month before MDCAT, I decided to skip the academy and stay home to prepare for MDCAT. I worked really hard during this last month to cover the syllabus and also revised it twice! Practicing MCQs proved to be very helpful. I secured 989/1100 in FSC and 182/200 in MDCAT. My aggregate was 91.4091. With the blessings of Allah Almighty and the prayers of my parents, I secured admission in GMC in my first attempt.
My message to you all is
1. Work Hard and be consistent
2. Keep faith in Allah Almighty
3. Don’t take too much stress and stay calm during the paper
And insha Allah you will be wearing the white coat next year.
If I can do, then Who’s Stopping You? Best Of Luck Ahead! Its Your Turn Now!
Dr. Iqra Amir, King Edward Medical University, Lahore
My journey to medschool
When I started my dream journey to my favorite medschool, King Edward Medical University, I was determined and dedicated. I studied all around the clock except the sleep hours, though I never missed any fun activity, but I managed my routine.
This journey is not about your intellect, its about how you manage the stuff. The mdcat year was the toughest, as I had only 1 month to prepare, punjab books along with federal books. At that time I thought kemu is too much to think of but I trusted Allah Almighty and asked Him as only He was the one who could fulfill what I wanted. Soo here I am at, Alhumdullilah in 3rd year now.
The thing is you just need to work hard and smart and leave rest upon Allah Almighty. Ask Him for the best and He will surely give you the best.
Dr. Ayyad Farhan Syed, Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore
1. My routine was waking up early at around 9-10 am and to study the whole day with prayer and food breaks and 5-10 mins break every hour on phone/social media. They say u shouldn’t use any social media at all but u can for atleast an hour everyday. I would study till 2-3 am or even till fajr.
2. My preparation strategy was basically all by myself. I didn’t join any academy. Im an overseas mbbs student and did all my prep from saudi arabia by myself, online. My website was Saeedmdcat. It has the best and all lectures of topics and extensive practice questions and fpls, completely free.
3. Do bio mcqs less and focus on just board books. For me I only had to do federal as I gave Islamabad mdcat (szabmu) in which all mcqs came from federal books. For punjab ik that ptb+federal is mandatory. Do chem half mcqs and half prep from books/lectures/notes. For physics do lots and lots of practice mcqs, like 80% practice 20% prep from book
4.Paper comes much easier then expected. But always prepare for worst. I was always pessimistic but just focus on thinking itll come hard then ull be better prepared trust me. As I thought after giving paper id only score around 150, but got 186 final score.
5. Nums and mdcat were a big success for me. I was a fresher too came top 10 in all countries of overseas pakistanis.
Dr. Muhammad Abubakar Siddique, D.G Khan Medical College
Jis tarah namaz ki qaza krni parti hai , study ki bhi qaza must hai , fresh year main concepts build krny hain, recommended books parhni hain, past papers parh kr pass hojaogy laikin post graduate exam main double pain kae saath, waapis parhna hoga , study sae bach nai skty , better to utilize time in building excellence throughout your MBBS journey so that you build a legacy in post graduation. THANK U
Dr. Huzaifa Tanveer, Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur
First of all MCAT aspirant should believe in himself that he can do . Second he has to work hard to his full and to pray to Allah for his success. Two things he need just first work hard and second purity and trust in Allah and pray to Allah .
Dr. M AbuBakar Noon, Nishtar Medical University, Multan
